ADVENT FOODBOX: last year we asked our local church congregations to put together an Advent Foodbank instead of, as well as, the usual chocolate fuelled Advent calendar. This year we are widening this appeal. With this message is a poster explaining what it involves.
UPDATE ON THIS INITIATIVE: 4th January 2018
A big thank you to all those who took part in this appeal, at the end of December we had collected 869kg of food. This equates to about 600 meals. if more come in this week this total will be amended accordingly.
