Give Help

Volunteer

Volunteers are the life blood of foodbanks. Your skills could be just what we need.

Volunteers are the driving force behind food banks. There are thousands of volunteers across the UK, helping The Trussell Trust Foodbank Network get emergency food to people in crisis.

Bexhill Volunteer Driver

We are looking for volunteer drivers who can give 2-3 hours on a weekday morning to help the foodbank with food collections and deliveries to vulnerable people.  This may suit someone who is recently retired or has a day off in the week and is looking for a rewarding way to make a local difference.

If you are reliable, have a clean full driving licence, are over 25 years old, happy to lift crates and shopping bags with a friendly disposition then we’d love to hear from you.
Please complete and submit an application form  Bexhill_Foodbank_Application_Form (April 2024) to Jenni Barnes, Volunteers’ Manager on [email protected]. Or drop it through the foodbank letterbox. If you’d like to speak to Jenni about this volunteering role, Jenni can be contacted on 07866 570468.

We do not currently have any vacancies for new volunteers to join our general volunteering teams in Bexhill or Battle at this time.

If you are interested in joining our waitlist for volunteering opportunities, please complete and submit an application form  Bexhill_Foodbank_Application_Form (April 2024) to Jenni Barnes, Volunteers’ Manager on [email protected]. Or drop it through the foodbank letterbox.
