Volunteer

Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.

Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.

At both branches we have wonderful teams- of volunteers and it is fun and stimulating to work amongst them at the food bank, serving our clients whilst they are in crisis.

We would like to encourage applications from under-represented groups to help us have team members that represent the make-up of our clients – people who consider themselves to be non-white, those with lived experience of poverty or using a food bank, those who are still of working age/ have children still in primary/ secondary education.

Our vacancies

If you are interested in applying please complete and submit an application form to Michelle Pannell, Foodbank Manager on info@bexhill.foodbank.org.uk. Or drop it through the foodbank letterbox.
